A Humvee increases the search radius to about 1 mile. (as of now Humvee seems to have a larger search radius than the Harley)
Humvee radius is a little shorter than Harley, but much larger than Horse.
To use a vehicle, put it in the top (red) row (not necessarily in your hands). Then click "Keep Searching" until the map refreshes.
